 Uttar Pradesh government has recommended a CBI inquiry into the suspicious death of businessman Manish Gupta in Gorakhpur. Until the CBI takes over the case, the SIT will proceed with the investigation. Along with the recommendation of CBI investigation of the case, instructions have also been given to appoint Manish Gupta's wife as OSD in Kanpur Development Authority.
