Reparation work begins on Gandak Barrage

Construction and repair work on the Gandak Barrage came to a halt when the lockdown was enforced and then due to Nepal map controversy. But due to the increased risk of floods both India and Nepal have agreed to restore the much-needed reparations. Machines are being brought to the location after three months for the same.
