Mumbai gets its first genome sequencing laboratory

The genome sequencing machine tracks new variants of Covid-19 within two to three days. This is a new facility set up at Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai that can analyze a large number of samples in a short time and new mutants of corona can also be identified.
