Samajwadi Party founder, former Union Minister and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav died on Monday (October 10). At the age of 82, he breathed his last at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. He once dominated the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Many people were behind Mulayam Singh Yadav's becoming the 'red' of UP's politics, but Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder and late leader Kanshi Ram is considered to have contributed a lot. It is said that Kanshi Ram had advised Mulayam Singh Yadav to form a political party. After this, on 4 October 1992, he founded the Samajwadi Party.
