At the Maha Kumbh, there has been a big change in the Kinnar Akhada. Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi and former actress Mamta Kulkarni have been removed from their positions. This decision was made by Rishi Ajay Das, the founder of the Kinnar Akhada. Both of them have been expelled from the Akhada, with Tripathi also losing her title as Acharya Mahamandaleshwar. Rishi Ajay Das said that a meeting will be held soon to reorganize the Akhada and appoint a new Acharya Mahamandaleshwar. He also mentioned that there were disagreements within the Akhada under Tripathi's leadership. Many members want Ajay Das to take charge again. The new Acharya Mahamandaleshwar is expected to be appointed before the Maha Kumbh ends.
