The Rajya Sabha has voted NOT to send the Citizenship Amendment Bill to a select panel. 113 MPs voted against the proposal while 92 voted for the proposal. Now, 206 MPs are in the House when voting was held, which means that the majority mark to clear a proposal is 105. Now the Rajya Sabha has passed the Bill.
