Will 30-year-old ties between BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal end?

Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal resigned from Modi 2.0 cabinet on Thursday to register her protest against the farm bills. The news is a major jolt to the Narendra Modi government as the Centre was already facing backlash from the opposition over the contentious farm bills. 

However, Harsimrat Kaur has stepped down from her post but the Shiromani Akali Dal party is still a part of the ruling coalition NDA. Will this be the end of the 30-year-old ties between the two parties?
