Why doesn't Mukhtar Ansari want to return to UP?

Uttar Pradesh don Mukhtar Ansari has declined from returning to his home state as he is suffering from depression and diabetes. He has been in Ropar jail of Punjab and has refused to leave for Uttar Pradesh.
The UP police had gone to fetch Mukhtar Ansari but in vain as doctors suggested bed rest for the don and politician.
