Why does China backstab India time and again?

Despite India being welcoming and warm to China, the neighbouring country has been rude and imprudent. China pretends to be India's friend but it changes its stance time and again. China has backstabbed India and its unreliable temperament has been exposed openly. 

But why does China resort to cheating so often?
