Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved launched 'Coronil', first ayurvedic medicine for coronavirus during a press conference in conducted on Tuesday at Yogpeeth, Haridwar. The company claims that it is the first evidence-based ayurvedic medicine.

However, the Ministry of Ayush asked Patanjali to provide at the earliest details like the composition of the medicines, the results of its research, the hospitals where the research was conducted and whether it had registered for the clinical trials.
