Violence increases as WB elections inch nearer

The Bharatiya Janata Party workers were lathicharged by the police of North 24 Parganas. The BJP workers alleged that the police officials took three leaders of the party inside police station premises and beat them up.

The incident took place when the BJP workers were busy in door to door campaign 'Ghar Ghar, Dware Dware'.
