US: Will George Floyd's death affect the upcoming elections?

All the cities of superpower America are ablaze these days with fierce protests against racial violence.  Protests erupted in various parts of the US following the death of George Floyd and have taken a violent form. These protests have once again brought back to life the racial violence that has been going on in America for a long time.
