State-sponsored violence in Bengal: Prakash Javadekar | PC

Union Minister and BJP leader Prakash Javadekar said, 'If a minister's convoy can be attacked, then, who is safe in Bengal? This is state-sponsored violence. We condemn violence in Bengal. Special measures should be taken to bring the culprits to justice'

Earlier, Union Minister V Muraleedharan's car was attacked by the locals in West Midnapore. The minister took to Twitter and shared visuals of the attack where locals are seen with lathis attacking his car. Some are also being seen pelting stones at Muraleedharan's car.

The Minister of State for External Affairs took to Twitter and shared the video claiming that the attack was done by 'TMC goons'.
