On Saturday, the lieutenant-generals of India & China meet to resolve the border dispute. This is going to be a first for a meeting to be held at such a senior level. Earlier on Tuesday, talks were held between the Major Generals but the meeting ended on an inconclusive note.

The talks at the higher levels of the military echelon from either side will take place after multiple meetings between local commanders of the two nations failed could not lead to any successful negotiations.
