Several districts across UP under locust attack

Several districts in Uttar Pradesh are now facing the attack from locust horde. Agra, Firozabad, Kasganj and Fatehpur saw lakhs of locusts emerge out of nowhere on to the harvest in their farmland. The local farmers were forced to fend off the locusts by banging thali and tin objects in Fatehpur. In Agra, fire tenders rushed to the spot and sprayed water and insecticide on the locusts to chase them away. The attack continued for hours.
