Sensex jumps record 240 points, goes beyond 48000

There was a record jump by Sensex as it increased by 240 points. The Sensex went beyond 48000 for the first time to date. Due to the emergency use approval given to COVAXIN and COVISHIELD, the jump was witnessed in the numbers.
