SC commences hearing of petitions questioning Vikas Dubey encounter

The encounter of Kanpur gangster Vikas Dubey was challenged and hence petition was filed in the Supreme Court. The apex court has started hearing the petitions.
Gangster Vikas Dubey killed eight policemen of Uttar Pradesh police when they reached to arrest him. He evaded the crime scene and managed to be on the run for at least 7 days. Post that he was arrested from Ujjain and then encountered near Kanpur when he tried to flee.
