Prashant Kumar to be acting DGP as Hitesh Chandra Awasthi retires

ADG Law and Order, Prashant Kumar, will be acting DGP of Uttar Pradesh as Hitesh Chandra Awasthi retired on Wednesday. Until the next DGP takes charge, Prashant Kumar will be looking after the responsibilities of the DGP post too. It is expected that IPS Mukul Goyal will be the new DGP
