View In AppPrime Minister Modi in Bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bihar on Wednesday, following his visit to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh the day before. The Prime Minister will open the new Nalanda University campus in Rajgir, Bihar, during his visit. The inauguration ceremony will be attended by a number of distinguished individuals, including the heads of missions from 17 different countries. In a statement, the PMO stated that the University is intended to be a cooperative effort between the nations of the East Asia Summit (EAS) and India. Attendees at the inaugural ceremony will include the heads of mission from seventeen different countries. There are two academic blocks on the campus, each with forty classrooms that can accommodate up to 1900 people in total. According to the statement, it includes two auditoriums with a combined capacity of 300 seats each. There is a student hostel there that can accommodate about 550 people. It went on to say that it boasts a number of other amenities, such as the International Center, the Faculty Club, the Sports Complex, and an amphitheater that can hold up to 2000 people.
