Pahalgam Attack: Pakistan’s Deputy PM Admits India May Launch Aggressive Military Action

ABP News Bureau   |  30 Apr 2025 10:54 AM (IST)

The impact of the Pahalgam terror attack is now clearly visible in Pakistan’s Parliament, where fear of an Indian retaliation is being openly discussed. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has acknowledged that India is seriously considering aggressive military action in response to the attack. According to intelligence inputs, there are indications that India is preparing for a targeted operation. Ishaq Dar’s statement comes amid growing international support for India after the brutal Pahalgam incident. Dar admitted that India's assertive approach, especially after being directly targeted in Pahalgam, has sent shockwaves through Islamabad. He noted that global powers have backed India’s stance against terrorism, further isolating Pakistan diplomatically. The Indian Army, having been granted a free hand by PM Modi, is reportedly finalizing its strategy. These developments reflect rising pressure on Pakistan's leadership, as Indian retaliation appears imminent. The international community’s alignment with India’s right to self-defense has strengthened its position significantly.
