Pahalgam Attack: Most Suspects Entered India on 3-Month Visas, Say Sources

ABP News Bureau   |  29 Apr 2025 01:46 PM (IST)

Following the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, new revelations have intensified suspicions of Pakistan’s involvement. According to ABP News, several Pakistani nationals suspected of being linked to the attack had entered India on three-month visas. Investigative agencies are now probing how these individuals entered under legal cover and whether they were involved in reconnaissance or logistical support for the attack. The situation has escalated diplomatically, with Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif expressing fears that India may retaliate militarily. In an interview, he stated that an Indian strike on Pakistan seems "almost certain." Despite these tensions, Asif denied any Pakistani involvement in the Pahalgam attack. However, India maintains it was a Pakistan-sponsored terror strike and is contemplating a strong response.Meanwhile, India’s security agencies, including the NIA, continue to interrogate locals and investigate cross-border links, as evidence pointing to Pakistani coordination mounts.
