NSA Doval briefs PM Modi over present situation at LAC

There has been a tense standoff between the Indian Army and the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China at several places near the LAC in eastern Ladakh since early May.

NSA Ajit Doval has briefed PM Modi over the present situation at LAC. 

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held a meeting with three Army Chiefs over the present situation at LAC. Despite several rounds of military-diplomatic negotiations with China, so far China has not given any indication of retreat.
