Santosh Kushwaha is reportedly unhappy with being overlooked within the JDU. This move is considered a significant setback for the NDA. Kushwaha has previously served as a JDU MP in 2014 and 2019. His possible entry into the RJD could alter the political equations in the Seemanchal region. The RJD is expected to leverage his influence as a prominent leader from the Kushwaha caste.
