Nirbhaya Case: Preparation for execution begins in Tihar jail

Preparations for the execution of all four convicts in the Nirbhaya gang-rape and murder case began in Delhi's Tihar jail soon after Patiala House Court Additional Sessions Judge Satish Kumar Arora issued death warrants and ordered hanging of convicts on January 22 at 7 am.
The four convicts are Pawan Gupta, Mukesh Singh, Vinay Sharma and Akshay Thakur. The convicts' lawyers have said that they will move a curative petition in the Supreme Court.
