Nirbhaya case: Pawan Gupta's curative plea dismissed by SC

The Supreme Court has rejected the curative petition filed by Pawan Gupta against his death sentence. Pawan is a convict in the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case. However, he still has the option of filing a mercy petition. The four convicts of Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case were sentenced to death by Supreme Court in 2017 and are awaiting the commutation of sentence.
