Nirbhaya case: Dummy execution of the convicts conducted in Tihar

Hangman Pawan Jallad reached Tihar jail on Tuesday, three days ahead of the scheduled hanging of convicts in the Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case. Jallad conducted a dummy execution of the convicts on Wednesday. The execution of all the four convicts -- Mukesh Singh, Pawan Gupta, Vinay Sharma and Akshay Kumar Singh was held today at 5.30 am. This is the fourth death warrant against the convicts. The earlier three warrants were deferred pending the exhaustion of legal remedies by the convicts.
