A powerful explosion tore through a residential house in Ayodhya’s Pagla Bhari village on Thursday, killing at least five people and injuring several others. The blast, which occurred under the Pura Kalandar police station limits, was so severe that it completely demolished the building, trapping residents under the rubble. Rescue teams, including local police and emergency services, rushed to the site and launched operations to pull survivors from the debris. Circle Officer Shailendra Singh confirmed the fatalities and said, “Five people have died in the explosion, a few have been injured, and efforts are on to rescue those trapped. The cause remains under investigation.”
