Manmohan Singh Last Rites: Mortal Remains of Former PM Arrive at Nigambodh Ghat

The mortal remains of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh have arrived at Nigambodh Ghat for his final rites. Singh, who passed away at the age of 92 on December 26, 2024, will be cremated with full state honors on December 28, 2024, at 11:45 AM. The procession was accompanied by tight security, with senior leaders and dignitaries paying their respects as his body was transported to the cremation site. The government has arranged for a military honor ceremony, reflecting the respect and admiration Dr. Singh earned during his long tenure as Prime Minister and his significant contributions to India's development.
