Maharashtra CM files nomination papers for legislative council

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray filed nomination papers for legislative council elections. He will be chosen unopposed as the Congress party declared that it would withdraw one of its two candidates.

The elections are scheduled for nine seats on May 21.
