Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today announced two major partnerships aimed at boosting youth development, innovation, and international collaboration. In Nagpur, the state government signed an MoU with Tata Technologies to set up an Innovation, Incubation and Training Centre at Ramtek. The project, worth ₹115 crore, will see Tata Technologies invest ₹98 crore to provide advanced, innovation-driven training to students, particularly benefiting rural youth. Similar centres are already operational in Gadchiroli and Chandrapur, and now Ramtek will join this network. Officials said the initiative will open doors for students in high-tech training and skill development, preparing them for global opportunities. In another significant step, Maharashtra for the first time partnered with an American state, Iowa, by signing an MoU covering agriculture, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, and skill development. The agreement was signed in the presence of Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds. CM Fadnavis said Iowa’s expertise in these sectors will bring new opportunities for trade, innovation, and growth in Maharashtra. He emphasized that the collaboration will benefit farmers, industries, and citizens of the state. These twin partnerships mark a forward-looking strategy by the Maharashtra government to accelerate economic progress and global cooperation.
