Mahakumbh 2025: Strict Arrangements at Prayagraj Junction & No-Vehicle Zones Implemented

ABP News Bureau   |  25 Feb 2025 10:19 AM (IST)

To ensure smooth functioning during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, authorities have introduced strict arrangements at Prayagraj Junction Railway Station. A waiting room has been set up outside the platform, allowing only passengers whose trains are approaching to enter. This measure aims to control overcrowding and streamline passenger movement.Additionally, strict traffic regulations will be enforced in the city. From 4 PM today, Mela Area will be declared a no-vehicle zone, restricting all vehicular movement. Similarly, from 6 PM, Prayagraj city will also become a no-vehicle zone, ensuring a hassle-free pilgrimage experience. These steps are part of the larger plan to manage the massive crowd expected during the Mahakumbh festival, prioritizing safety and efficient transportation.Authorities urge visitors and residents to cooperate with the new guidelines and plan their commute accordingly. With these arrangements, officials aim to enhance crowd management and security, ensuring a smooth and sacred experience for devotees attending the grand spiritual gathering.
