Mahakumbh 2025: Over 35 Crore Devotees Take a Holy Dip at Sangam in Prayagraj

The Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj is witnessing an overwhelming turnout of devotees, with over 35 crore pilgrims having taken a sacred dip in the Triveni Sangam. On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared images of the 'Amrit Snan' and congratulated the saints, spiritual leaders, devotees, and all the akhadas who have gathered for the event. He expressed heartfelt wishes to those who took a holy dip in the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.As of 8 AM today, more than 62.25 lakh devotees have participated in the Amrit Snan, continuing the grand tradition of the Mahakumbh. The total number of devotees who have already taken the holy dip reached 34.97 crore by yesterday. The festival, marking a spiritual and cultural milestone, continues to attract a massive influx of devotees, underscoring its significance as one of the largest religious gatherings in the world
