Mahakumbh 2025: First Amrit Snan After Stampede, Saints React to Arrangements

Following the recent stampede incident, the first Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh 2025 took place on Basant Panchami at the sacred Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared images of the holy event, extending his heartfelt wishes to saints, Kalpvasis, and devotees participating in the sacred ritual.The grand bathing witnessed a massive turnout of saints and pilgrims, with authorities ensuring enhanced safety measures after the previous mishap. Several saints and religious leaders expressed their views on the event’s arrangements, emphasizing the need for better crowd management while acknowledging the administration's efforts.Meanwhile, a war room has been set up to continuously monitor the situation, ensuring smooth operations. CM Yogi Adityanath is personally overseeing the arrangements, reviewing security and logistics to prevent any disruptions. Despite concerns over the past incident, the spiritual fervor remained high as devotees took the holy dip, believing in the divine blessings of the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati.
