Land-for-Job Case: 'Court to Deliver Verdict on Charges on 10 November', Says Sources | ABP News

Amid the Bihar Assembly elections, the RJD faces intensified legal troubles as the Rauz Avenue Court has framed charges against Lalu Prasad Yadav, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, and other accused in the IRCTC-linked land-for-job scam. The charges include IPC 420 (cheating), IPC 120B (criminal conspiracy), and Sections 13(2) and 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, with the latter two applying specifically to Lalu Yadav. When questioned, Lalu, Rabri, and Tejashwi Yadav refused to admit guilt, stating they will contest the trial. Rabri Yadav termed the case “wrong,” emphasizing the family’s resolve to legally challenge the allegations. The verdict marks a major development in Bihar’s political landscape.
