Kasganj Custodial Death: Gandhi siblings attack UP govt via tweets

A 22-year-old youth named Altaf, was arrested over a case of a missing minor in the Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh. Altaf was found dead at a police station on Tuesday and his death caused a political stir. Kotwali Police station's five officials, including SHO, were suspended post the custodial death.

SSP Rohan Pramod Botre alleged the incident and told that Altaf hung himself with a string from his jacket's hood. The youngster used the water pipe in a toilet, which is 2 feet above the ground, to do so.

The police's version of death has become the reason behind multiple doubts and questions of the opposition parties.
