On the third Monday of Shravan, a massive wave of devotion was witnessed at Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Large numbers of devotees and Kanwariyas arrived from different parts of the country to offer holy water to Lord Shiva and pray for happiness and prosperity. The temple premises remained crowded since early morning, with chants of “Bam Bam Bhole” and “Har Har Mahadev” echoing throughout the area. In view of the heavy rush, the temple and district administrations made special arrangements for security and crowd management. Similar scenes were witnessed at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The temple was beautifully decorated with flowers, creating an attractive and festive atmosphere. Rituals and prayers began with the Mangala Aarti early in the morning. Devotees from different regions continued to arrive in large numbers to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.
