ITR filing deadline extended to Sept 30 due to Coronavirus pandemic

The Income Tax filing deadline has been extended to September 30 instead of July 31. This has been done in lieu of the ongoing Coronavirus situation in the country. The CBDT announced about the extension.

On the other hand, a dip is being witnessed in the number of new Coronavirus cases in India.
