If lockdown was not implemented in India, then the nation would have reported 8.20 lakh cases till 15 April. India is under lockdown for 21 days till 14 April. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said: "I know that some countries are already planning the transition out of stay-at-home restrictions. At the same time, lifting restrictions too quickly could lead to a deadly resurgence."
