Heavy rains to hit Mumbai soon: IMD

According to the prediction of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai will witness heavy rains in the next 48 hours. The onset of Monsoon has begun. 

Parts of Mumbai witnessed light rains. As per the IMD official, the conditions are favourable for further advancement of monsoon in parts of Maharashtra.
