Hathras Case: Chief Minister Yogi forms SIT

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has formed an SIT to probe the Hathras gang rape case. This committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Home Secretary. DIG Chandra Prakash and IPS Poonam have also been made its members. Instructions have been given to get to the bottom of the incident and give a time-bound report.

Questions are being raised after the police cremated the body of the gang-rape victim. The victim's father has alleged that the police have forcibly cremated his daughter.
