Electricity dept workers go on strike in several parts of East UP

Electricity department workers in several areas of Uttar Pradesh such as Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Amethi, Moradabad, Maharajganj went on strike affecting power supply in those areas. Many places faced a power blackout as workers protested privatisation. They were on a strike for an entire day.
