Pfizer has sought government approval for the emergency use of the Coronavirus vaccine in India. According to information from a source, "Pfizer has submitted an application to DCGI on 4 December seeking an Emergency Use Authority (EUA) for its COVID-19 vaccine in India."

Currently, there are serious concerns about the appropriate storage conditions of Pfizer in India.
