The Delhi Red Fort blast investigation continues to expand, with major developments emerging from Kanpur and Faridabad. The Uttar Pradesh ATS has detained Dr. Arif, a physician working at Kanpur Medical College, for alleged links with Dr. Shaheen, one of the main suspects in the Delhi car blast case. Sources say Dr. Arif was in direct contact with Shaheen and her brother on the day of the explosion and was planning to flee Kanpur before being apprehended. Investigators believe Dr. Arif’s questioning could reveal crucial details about the wider white-collar terror network of doctors and professionals under scrutiny. His arrest adds to the growing list of detained medical professionals including Dr. Shaheen and Dr. Parvez whose names have surfaced in the probe. Meanwhile, a major parallel investigation is underway in Faridabad’s Khandauli village, where a red EcoSport car suspected to be linked to the same terror module was discovered late last evening. The NSG (National Security Guard) and forensic experts have cordoned off the area and are collecting physical evidence from the vehicle. With arrests spanning in multiple states Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, investigators believe they are closing in on a larger organized terror syndicate behind the deadly Red Fort explosion.
