Decoding PM Modi's statement on martyrdom of 20 soldiers at LAC

Wave of anger spread across India after 20 soldiers of Indian Army were martyred in a deception planned by the Chinese Army across the LAC in Galwan valley. PM Modi gave a brief statement about to address this anger during his meeting with the chief ministers on Wednesday. PM Modi vowed that the sacrifice of our soldiers will not go in vain. He also said that India wants peace but if provoked, won't back down from protecting its sovereignty.
