Dal Lake freezes as mercury dips in Srinagar

Winter has been breaking records all over the world as in someplaces there have been extreme snowfall and rainfall which has resulted in flooding as well. In Srinagar, the temperature has dipped to extreme low. Due to this Dal lake has frezzed and turned into a hard structure. In this video you will be able to see, CRPF Jawans involved in cutting of the ice on Dal lake where as local people of Srinagar seems to enjoy this cold winter.
