Cold wave in northern India post consistent snowfall in hilly areas

As per the alert released by India Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature in Delhi is likely to dip by 2 degrees at least. On the other hand, a cold wave warning has been released as well. Apart from Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana would be affected too

The reason behind such weather is consistent snowfall in the hilly areas.
