Chhath Puja 2020: Man open fires in Bihar's Chhapra

A man in Bihar's Chhapra open fired near a ghat on the occasion of Chhath Puja. Devotees were performing rituals on the last day of Chhath puja near the river bank when the man open fired.
A number of people were injured after the incident. 

Chhath is a festival that is mainly celebrated in Bihar, Jharkhand, parts of Uttar Pradesh and the Madhesh area in Nepal. Solar deity 'Surya' and his sister 'Shashti Devi' (Chhathi Maiya) are worshipped during the festival.
