Centre seeks suggestions over lockdown extension from states

The Cabinet Secretary, Rajiv Gauba, called for a meeting today with all the state chief secretaries and the principal secretaries of health as the lockdown 4.0 is near its end. During this meeting, the centre has asked the states to gove suggestions over lockdown extension or lockdown 5.0. The states will have to give suggestions by upcoming Saturday

The meeting was attended by municipal commissioners and district magistrates of 13 Coronavirus hit cities of the country. These cities include Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai
