He also criticized the BJP and NDA, accusing them of step-motherly treatment towards Bihar, and claimed that issues like poverty, migration, and farmers’ income have worsened under their rule. On the question of the CM face, Tejashwi dismissed media speculation, saying such decisions will be taken collectively and revealed at the right time. While no formal seat-sharing formula was announced, signs indicate that RJD and Congress are close to an agreement. Left parties, especially CPI(ML), are demanding more seats this time, while Congress is negotiating for fewer but winnable constituencies. Final decisions may emerge after the April 17 meeting.
