Breaking: Red Fort Blast Linked To Faridabad Explosion, CCTV Shows i20 Suspect Alone In Car
The Delhi Police have intensified their probe into the Red Fort blast after CCTV footage revealed a man sitting alone inside an i20 car moments before the explosion. The blast triggered a massive fire that destroyed three vehicles, and forensic teams are now examining the parking area where the car was stationed. The suspect, seen alone in the footage, is believed to have been inside the car at the time of the explosion. Officials have invoked sections under the Explosives Act and BNS. Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) experts have collected multiple samples from the site, including what appear to be human remains scattered across a wide radius—indicating the intensity of the blast. Senior officers, including DCP North Raja Bhatiya, confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and premature conclusions cannot be made. Sources suggest the explosion may have links to the recent Faridabad blast, as chemical samples from both sites appear similar. The material has been sent to the FSL for detailed analysis, and central agencies like the NIA and NSG have been briefed. High alert has been issued across sensitive zones in Delhi and Mumbai as agencies explore possible terror links.
